Chinese fashion brand opens its first U.S. store at American Dream


China-based women’s fashion brand EP Yaying has opened its first U.S. store in American Dream.

The store is located on American Dream Avenue, a 300,000-square-foot corridor of upscale stores. EP Yaying is his 19th tenant to open in this part of the Meadowlands megamall. Join anchors Saks Fifth Avenue, Hermès, Dolce & Gabbana, Saint Laurent and more.

The store was designed by renowned French architect Franklin Atzi, who has worked with the brand on stores in China.

EP Yaying has over 500 stores across China. In 1979 in Luodong village he was established as a collective owned clothing company with 34 craftsmen and his 18 household sewing machines. In the 1990s, the company expanded to Beijing, where high-quality silk clothing gained popularity.

The American Dream is a 3.5 million square foot shopping, dining and entertainment complex in East Rutherford. It opened its doors in October 2019, months before the COVID pandemic.

Still, the developer has announced a steady stream of new openings, including an Apple store that opened last month, with more facilities coming in 2023, including The Game Room Powered by Hasbro and Skip Barber Racing Go-Kart Academy. is planned.
