Drunk driving
Bradford C. Johnson of Chicago was charged on December 28 for driving under the influence of alcohol, not using turn signals, illegally stopping, using improper lanes, and driving an uninsured vehicle. charged with driving. Police stopped Johnson near the intersection of Lake His Road and Revere. Watch as he sways between lanes, doesn’t signal to turn, or doesn’t move at a green light before driving. He failed the practical sobriety test. He was released on bail and is scheduled to appear in Cook County Court in Skokie on February 7.
robbery
On December 19, an unidentified person broke into a car parked on Block 1500 of Cook Lake Road and stole clothes, shoes, and jewelry.
theft
Officers on routine patrol found the catalytic converter stolen from a vehicle parked on the 300 block of Melvin Drive on December 27.
On Dec. 23, a woman entered retail on the 700 block of Skokie Blvd., loaded her shopping cart with various hair products, and left without paying.
