Luxury fashion retailer SMCP has announced an interesting plan to teach fashion lovers how to run a fashion store. In collaboration with EMA SUP Paris and Institut Français de la Mode, we welcomed the first class of the SMCP Retail Lab Academy (Paris Fashion School).
The concept was created in November 2021 at a hackathon themed “Retail Challenges”.
Guichaud said the company encourages its employees to think creatively and foster an entrepreneurial spirit. The beginning of our academy is an ideal illustration of our spirit of enthusiasm and initiative, making us well-equipped to meet market challenges.
It is based on the individual omnichannel marketing training program offered by EMA SUP Paris. The Paris Fashion School’s Institut Français de la Mode will also host several events on fashion culture and the latest sustainability issues. Additionally, the SMCP is responsible for educating students about the brand, its history, and how it works throughout the year.
