LSU Tigers to host key transfers in 2023

The LSU Tigers welcome offensive line transfer Jakai Clarke in an official visit on March 24. Brad Davis, LSU’s offensive line coach, is working hard to earn Clarke’s commitment. This is huge for a roster that needs to solidify its center position for the 2023 season. Junior Charles Turner started at center for the 2022 LSU Tigers. However, Clarke could upgrade his position, allowing the versatile Turner to return to guard.

Jakai Clark is a former 3-star recruit of the Class of 2018. The Georgia native recently completed an official visit to SMU and will be heading to Missouri and West Virginia in the coming weeks. Either way, Clarke will have to decide on his next college team in his second transfer portal, which opens on May 1st.

The LSU Tigers prepare for the NFL Draft Showcase game

Missing college football games, LSU fans have a great way to end the week. The 2023 East-West Shrine Bowl airs tonight at 7:30 PM CST on NFL Network. Additionally, the 2023 Senior Bowl will air Saturday at 1:30 p.m. CST on NFL Network. Yes, in both games he has an LSU Tigers alumni. Tonight, cornerback Mekhi Garner will play for the East team and cornerback Jaric Bernard-Converse will play for the West team.
