Experts now claim that Kate and many other members of the royal family have embraced new fashion trends that “stay relevant.”

Last year, after the pandemic, royal engagements were revived, with royals across Europe sporting new looks.

Oversized suits became the outfit of choice for many royal women, including Kate, Meghan Markle, Queen Maxima of the Netherlands and Queen Letizia of Spain.

The Duchess of Sussex sported an oversized look when she chose an oversized white Valentino suit at the Invictus Games in Holland in April.

The £3,200 suit was paired with wedding shoes and earrings during her visit to The Hague.

The following month, the Princess of Wales did the same on a trip to Jamaica, wearing an oversized tailored white suit jacket.

She later wore the same Alexander McQueen suit with flared pants instead of the tapered style she chose in Jamaica.

Fans of the royal family were quick to notice the new style choices from the royal family, with many comments on the Prince and Princess of Wales’ Instagram accounts.
