The Princess of Wales and her daughter, Princess Charlotte, stepped out in festive attire for a special Christmas carol service last night.
The Welsh family, along with other royals including Prince Charles, Camilla, Princess Eugenie, Princess Beatrice, Zara Tindall and Kate’s sister Pippa Middleton, attended Kate’s ‘Together At Christmas’ service at Westminster Abbey. I was out to attend
Kate and daughter Charlotte wore matching burgundy coats to attend the service and had a lovely matching fashion moment. I chose heels and accessorized earrings. Her hair was styled in shiny waves that were swept to one side.
Charlotte matched her mother in a maroon coat with a rounded sweet collar, navy tights and Mary Jane shoes. Prince William and Prince George also had a matching moment in a smart navy suit. Four-year-old Prince Louis, the youngest of Wales, stayed home for the night.
Zara Tindall and Pippa Middleton also chose to wear coats in the same burgundy hue. Zara matched her with a classic black coat and her shoes, and Pippa opted for her sophisticated knee-high boots.
The Princess hosted a special carol service in honor of the life and legacy of the late Queen Elizabeth II, who died on September 8 at the age of 96. The festive evening featured carols by the monastery choir and was also attended by other members of the royal family, military personnel, philanthropists and volunteers.
Kensington Palace shared details ahead of the service: “The Carol Service builds friendships, strengthens communities and creates a legacy of humility and kindness, while celebrating and showcasing the joy that human connection brings. The service combines both traditional and contemporary elements to reach people of all faiths.”
The Princess of Wales ‘Together at Christmas’ carol service will air on ITV at 7pm on Christmas Eve.
