Lindsey Vonn has teamed up with Gucci Vault for their latest collaboration.
The former Olympic skier and luxury brand have teamed up to create vibrant ski jackets, puffer vests and ski pants that blend a vintage feel with a graffiti-inspired aesthetic. Vonn posted on her Instagram when the Vault Altitude collection launched on Monday. She wore her coat in a bright blurry puffer that colored her head with her matching ski pants. She also wore a blue Yniq Eyewear helmet and goggles. Gucci partnered with her eight different brands, including these two, to develop a capsule that blends fashion and sport functionality. Bong added extra warmth on the slopes with a white turtleneck and white gloves.
The collection rounds out the technical pieces with a variety of après-ski pieces, including knitwear from Elder Statesman and crocheted pieces from up-and-coming Italian designer Gui Rosa. And since no statement after his ski look is complete without his boots, Gucci has incorporated his Moon boots into a range of vintage-inspired footwear.
The entire collection launches on January 9th and is an addition to Gucci’s après-ski focused collection that debuted in December.
