The new wash plant installed at Progress Apparels Bangladesh Ltd, one of PDS’ manufacturing subsidiaries in Bangladesh, includes two washers, three dryers and two hydroelectric generators with inverters. The facility will allow Progress Apparels to manage 90% of its current wash requirements in-house, leading to savings in transportation costs and production turnaround times, resulting in improved operational efficiency, the company said.
