Rooms Returns to Paris Men’s Fashion Week With Tranoï – WWD

London – The Londoners return to Paris Men’s Fashion Week after a four-year hiatus.

The British Fashion Council has announced that its London showroom will partner with Tranoï Men in the French capital in January 2023.

A platform for emerging menswear talent, Rooms will take place from January 19th to 22nd at Garage Amelot in the Marais district.

About 17 designers, including Abigail Ajobi, Carlota Varela and Charlie Konstantinou, will be presenting their collections to international buyers and the press.

BFC started hosting rooms in 2008 and held a pop-up in Paris as part of the organization’s support and mentoring plan.

This is the first time Rooms has been held in Paris since June 2019. The showcase was put on hold due to Brexit and the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, BFC is resuming programs and live shows after the pandemic.

In December, the BFC announced a tentative schedule of physical and digital London Fashion Week shows and presentations. His Fall 2023 showcase will run from February 17-23, featuring designers in womenswear and menswear.

Burberry is headlining the Fall 2023 calendar as the British brand gears up for Daniel Lee’s debut on February 20th.

Kicking off the show season is Paul Costello on February 17th, followed by Fashion East, Edward Crutchley and Hui Shan Zhang.

BFC Newgen designer Sinéad O’Dwyer will also be performing on the day. She’s a London-based Irish designer who has carved out a niche in popular culture with outfits like Lara Stone, Paloma Her Elsesser, Björk, Alka and Precious Her Lee.

Richard Quinn is giving back his last show slot to Burberry. He had closed showcases for the past few seasons. Riccardo Tisci recently launched a non-traditional calendar collection.

In honor of Queen Elizabeth II, whose funeral coincided with London Fashion Week in September, Burberry staged its Spring 2023 show after Paris Fashion Week on 26 September.

The Fall 2023 calendar also marks the return of cocktail parties and in-store events to celebrate London Fashion Week.
