Several people in front of the store began telling police that they had just stolen some clothing belonging to a woman.
While searching the parking lot on foot, several witnesses told officers that the woman had gotten into a white Dodge Charger.
Officers spotted a 2012 Dodge Charger in the middle of the parking lot and, upon approaching, spotted two women trying to hide. Both the driver and passenger seats were lowered to the bottom.
They were told to get out of the car, and when they did, the officer saw clothes with the price tag still on them in the back seat. Both women were handcuffed and restrained.
The item has been returned to the store. The manager told the officer that he would bring a copy of the loss prevention report to the police station the next day. Both women reside in Toledo, Ohio.
They were arrested and charged with retail fraud.
