Amarillo, Texas (KFDA) – The Tuscosa Rebels Boys basketball team defeated the Palo Duro Dons by a final score of 93-73 on Tuesday night.
The Rebels had a close loss to the Dons in the district opener earlier this season, but bounced back big in their second meeting. Jalyn Sledge scored his 35 points in this match and Devane Johnson also dominated the match with his 20 points. This left the Rebels in a 3–2 draw with the Dons, placing him second in the district standings.
Lady Rebels handled business for Lady Dons 65-43. It was a battle between Jada Torrence and Avery Carter, both of whom scored 20 points on the night.The Lady Rebels’ next game will be against the #8 Amarillo High Lady Sandies, who upset earlier this season. If the Lady Rebels win, they will take the top spot in the district.
