“I still shop at medium-sized stores like Zara. I think I’ll keep them in business!”
“Grandma will change clothes for me. My grandmother is a skilled seamstress, so she brings my long-legged trousers and cuts off the legs and trims the hems so that I look exactly like everyone else.”
“So something as simple as cargo, do you know the pockets are meant to be thigh-high? She takes the pockets and moves them up. Best friend!
I’m a size 8 to 10, so I shop in stores like everyone else, but not everyone has a grandmother who is a tailor, so for everyone in my condition I don’t think so.

What is dwarfism?
Growth restriction, also known as dwarfism, is a condition characterized by short stature.
There are two main types of restricted growth.
- Proportional short stature (PSS) – general lack of growth in which trunk and limb lengths are proportional
- Disproportionate short stature (DSS) – short limbs or out of proportion with the rest of the body
In addition to being short in stature, some people with restricted growth also have other physical problems, such as crooked legs and abnormally curved spines.
But most people don’t have other serious problems. They are often able to lead relatively normal lives and have a normal life expectancy.
