Urban Outfitters, Inc. (NASDAQ: URBN) and the Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts & Design at Drexel University are accepting applications for a two-year apprenticeship program to prepare participants for a career in fashion design. Bespoke: The URBN x Drexel Apprenticeship Program consists of a customized curriculum that combines fashion design coursework at Drexel with mentorship and on-the-job training at URBN. URBN and Drexel cover tuition, room and board with the goal of making careers in fashion design more accessible.

The Made to Measure: URBN x Drexel Apprenticeship Program is open to individuals who are interested in a career in fashion design, have demonstrated aptitude for creativity, and have not yet undertaken post-secondary studies. Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent by June 2023. Known as Design Apprentices, participants can work up to 20 hours per week at URBN while enrolling as part-time students at Drexel, gaining strong professional experience across brands and departments. .
Applications will be accepted until March 1st. The final group of participants will be selected in Spring 2023 for July 2023 admission. Apprentices who successfully complete the program earn 70 transferable course credits and a stackable certificate from Drexel University, as well as an offer of continued employment at URBN.
